We bid farewell to Irene Matyas of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 19, 2025 at the age of 93. Irene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Irene departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Irene. Though Irene may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rudolph "Rudy" Matyas. She is survived by: her children, Cathy Hall (Bruce), Mark Matyas (Sue), Laura Matyas (Gary) and Lisa Crits (Chas). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A Mass will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Anne's Ukrainian Catholic Church (1545 Easton Rd, Warrington, PA 18976). A burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at the St. John Nuemann Cemetery (3797 County Line Rd, Chalfont, PA 18914).
