She is survived by: her husband Edward; and her daughters, Cynthia Miller (Robert Miller), Jean Pinello (Frank Pinello), Sue Ziesel (Mike Godown) and Elizabeth Kica. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
She studied horticulture at The Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia and applied what she learned in the many gardens she'd plant at the various houses she lived in across her adult life.
