He was predeceased by: his parents, Archibald and Jean McCaughan. He is survived by: his children, John (Darcy McCaughan), Michael McCaughan (Katherine "Holly" Mead) and Karen (Jessica McHegg); and his grandchildren, Cayla, Carol, Gabe, Maggie, William, Leo and Neko.
