It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Burchinal of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, born in New York, New York, who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Augustus G. Kellogg II and Rita Mosher Kellogg; her husband David A. Burchinal; and her siblings, Augustus G. Kellogg III, Edith Kellogg Bechtold and Barbara Kellogg Gilroy.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Wendy Craine (John) and David Burchinal (Deke); her grandchildren, David Craine, Clarke Craine (Abigail), Danielle Gorgone (Alex) and Jamie Dayagdag (Vlad); her great grandchildren, Caroline Craine, Sibyl Craine and Everly Roy; and her nieces and nephews, Erin, Elsbeth, Kathryn, Kimberly, Michael, Augustus, Elizabeth and Jennifer.
In March 1973, Kay received the Certificate of Appreciation from the US Air Force for "her own unselfish, faithful and devoted service, and her unfailing support and understanding that made possible David's lasting contribution to the Nation".
