With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marianne S. Gilmour of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 9, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marianne S. Gilmour to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl C. Schmieg and Marian Runner Schmieg of Mechanicsville, PA.; her siblings, Josephine R. Henry, Carl M. and George T. Schmieg; her niece Pam Pickerd; and her great-niece Susan Callaway.
She is survived by: her husband C. Allan Gilmour; her sibling's children, John Henry (Deb), Jim Schmieg (Sue), Tim Schmieg (Barb) and De Richards; her friend Pam Watson Waller; and her children, Mary Jane Arnold and Jim Gilmour. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and eleven great-grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home (2335 Lower State Rd, Doylestown, PA 18901). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
