She was predeceased by: her parents, Coleta Shuman and Phil Shuman, Sr.; and her husband Dennis Bowers. She is survived by: her brother Phil Shuman, Jr.; her children, Shannon Wilson (Bill), Sarah Ryden (David) and Devon Bowers (Katelyn); her grandchildren, Sarah Wilson Turner (Jordan), Nick, Ellis, Ilana, Alora Ryden, Jaxon and Oliver Bowers; and her great grandchildren, Peyton, Cooper and Eli Turner.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Marsh Gibbon Farm (6759 Laurel Rd, New Hope, PA 18938).
In lieu of flowers, Nell would appreciate donations being made in her name to Planned Parenthood, Nature Conservancy, or National Park Service.
