She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Melia; her former husband Howard Transue; her stepfather John Gouran; her mother Regina Gouran (Jean); her grandparents, Ann and Joseph Vearling; and her sons, Howard (Hank) and Thomas Transue.
She is survived by: her sister Patricia Eagles (Robert Eagles); her nieces, Tricia Bartol (Timothy Bartol), Kathryn Eagles (Erin Eagles) and Julie Gilmore (Robert Gilmore); her great-nephew Mason; her brother John Gouran (Peg Garecht); her nieces, Karen Platt (Daniel Platt) and Stephanie Starr (Matthew); her grandsons, Quinn Transue, Sebastien Transue and Thomas Transue Jr.; her stepson Aaron Damms (Christy Damms); and her stepgrandson Bailey Damms. She is also survived by animals, rescuing dogs and cats.
