He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Dooley and George Dooley; his sister Judy Dooley; and his brothers-in-law, Timothy Wright and Richard Kaup.

He is survived by: his sisters, Karen Wright, Teresa Kaup and Kathy Chamberlin (Steve). He is also survived by nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews, and other extended family.
