He was predeceased by: his father John "Dal" Byers; and his sister Paula Annette Byers. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Jean Byers; and his sisters, Barbara Jean Podrost (Stephen) and Darleen Loyd (Matthew). He is also survived by two nieces; and three nephews.
