He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lent and Rose Marie Lent of East Millsboro, PA.; his daughter Lisa Katrina Lent; his great grandchild Dean Michael Murta; and his siblings, Russ Lent and Mary Ann Furlong.
He is survived by: his wife Ying Xu; his children, Laura Barrett, Andrea "Andi" Murta, John V. Lent and Shahnon Lent (Katie O'Brien); his stepson Xian Liu (Lin); his grandchildren, Lacey Rea Murphy (Charlie), Nathan, Haley, Ryan Barrett, Michael Murta (Maura), Alex Murta (Bridget) and Yi Lui; his great grandchildren, Alanis Rose, Luke David, Ava Mackenzie and Wesley Dean Murta; and his sister Rosanna Kozup (John). He is also survived by many cousins and nieces and nephews.
