He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Berger and Margaretta Berger (Karn); his wife Cora Berger (Smith); and his siblings, Helena Tanner, Clara Gill, Joseph, Nelson, Bruce and Arthur Berger.

He is survived by : his daughters, Debra J. Berger and Darlene J. Wolfe; his grandchildren, James B. Wolfe and Rebecca J. Wolfe; and his great grandchild James Maxwell Wolfe.

Viewing was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Krapf & Hughes Funeral Home - Crematory (530 W Butler Dr, Drums, PA 18222). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 11:45 AM at the Saint Johns Lutheran & Ucc Cemetery (778 St Johns Rd, St Johns, PA 18247).
