It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kevin O'Donnell of Drums, Pennsylvania, born in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 8, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William O'Donnell and Dorothy O'Donnell (Planutis); and his wife Maureen Balas O'Donnell. He is survived by : his grandchildren, Chase, Avanley and Keira; his children, Ryan O'Donnell (Doran Bowe-O'Donnell) of Cumberland, ME, Courtney O'Donnell of Fort Collins, CO and Erin Rudalavage (Jason) of Jermyn, PA; his sister Kathleen Dixon (Anthony) of Bridgeville, DE; and his siblings-in-law, Jeanette Balas Tait of Drums, PA and Jerome V. "Butch" Balas (Anna Mae) of Drums, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Kevin and regret that I was unable to attend the services for him. He was a highly respected colleague and good friend. We enjoyed many PEDA conferences, Penn's Northeast events and various regional gatherings together and I so enjoyed his company and friendship. He always spoke about this family and while Courtney was the only one of his children I actually knew, I felt like I knew you all from his stories. Please know how much he will be missed.”
