He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Mowrey and Elizabeth Mowrey (Moore); his wife Matilda "Tillie" Snyder; and his siblings, Jim Mowrey, Carol Reed, Jean Strouse and Glenda Thompson.
He is survived by: his family, Cindy L. Rozyle of Reynoldsville, Russell E. Mowrey of Reynoldsville, Beth A. Spicher (Robert) of Tennessee and Dennis R. Mowrey (Ray Sager) of Pittsburgh; his granddaughters, Kimberly Marshall and Tabitha Rozyle; his great grandchildren, Vinnie Dilullo, Ethan Marshall and Ava Rozyle; and his brothers, Walter Mowrey (Shelvy) of Reynoldsville and Allen Michael Mowrey (Linda) of Reynoldsville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
