He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Shindledecker and Sarah Shindledecker (Smith); his wife Delores Shindledecker (Hilliard); and his siblings, Don Shindledecker, Helen Shindledecker and Elizabeth "Betty" Dickey.
He is survived by: his sisters, Dorthy Brown of Erie, PA and Alberta Scott of Reynoldsville, PA; his sons, Jeff Shindledecker (Dottie) of Falls Creek, PA and Larry Shindledecker (Kelly) of DuBois, PA; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Jesse, Dustin and Alexis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
