He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Kurtz and Edith R. Kurtz O'Brien (Pfirman); and his wife Violet E. Kurtz. He is survived by: his children, William G. Kurtz (Terry), Tammy L. Harris (John) and Deana L. Kurtz; his grandchildren, Kelly (Michael), Nicole (Jerome), Matthew (Lindsey), J. J. (Maya), Nicholas (Courtney) and Nathan (Jamie); his great grandchildren, Logan, Jetayah, Karmani, Alaina, Graham, Caydence, Lucas, Ellie, Zoey and Trevor; his nephews, Bryan and Harold; his pet Jake; Judith D. Epright (Charles). He is also survived by six step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
