She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Donald Edgar Schroyer, Sr. and Freida Marie Garlick; husband: James Robert Goodwin; children: Gayle Arlene Martin (Robert), Richard Alan Goodwin (Patricia), and Lorraine Ann Newcomer (William); grandchildren: Elisha Marie Newcomer, Monika Rae Martin, Zackary Robert Martin, David Paul Sechrist, and Amanda Sechrist; great grandchildren: Aaron Lee Newcomer and the Brennan David Sechrist; siblings: Donald Edgar Schroyer Jr. (Georgetta), Laodicia Carole Porter, Irma Ruth O'Neal, Barbara Lynn Germock (Harry), Brenda Kay Schroyer, and Martha Mae Beilstein; daughter-in-law: Patricia Gallentine Goodwin; officiant: Rev. Steven Lamb; and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brooks Funeral Home - Connellsville (111 E Green St, Connellsville, PA 15425). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
