He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Younkin and Mary Younkin (Williams); his wife Janet Younkin (Soyka); his daughter Missy Emerick Burley; his siblings, Myrtle, Clarence Junior Younkin and Ray Younkin; and his son-in-law Kenneth King II.
He is survived by: his children, Marcy Blankenship (Brian) and Mindy King (Larry Black); his grandchildren, Krista Emerick (Brawn), Kayla Emerick, Zachary Emerick, Brianna Stratiff, Bethany Burnsworth (Nate), Brian Blankenship, Brandon Blankenship, Brooke Blankenship, Kenny, Kaylee King, Kaitlyn King, Asyria Black and Cedonia Black; his great grandchildren, Kenny, Hazel Kubinsky, Kora Emerick, James Braden Finch and Viridian Lachey; and his siblings, Tom (Mary) and Helen Jean Younkin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
