He was predeceased by : his parents, Boyd O. Shaffer and Frances L. Shaffer (Evans); and his sister Virginia Whitmyer. He is survived by : his sons, David S. Shaffer (Sarah E. Clark) of Harrisburg and Derek K. Shaffer (Maria E. Shaffer) of Hummelstown; his grandchildren, Brady Wilson, Owen Shaffer, Drew Shaffer, Alexa Shaffer, Brynn Shaffer and Kenzie Shaffer; and his sister Alyce Jane Fry (Shaffer) of Dellville.
