She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Sterner and Betty V. Sterner (May); her significant other Paul E. Foster; her daughter Tammy Foster; her grandson J. Nicholas DeJordy; and her brothers, Harold "Tuff" Carpenter and William Sterner.
She is survived by: her daughter Tina Shaffer (Robert Shaffer, Jr.) of Duncannon; her stepdaughter Angela Ehrhardt (Robert Ehrhardt) of Hanover, MD; her grandchildren, Jeanette Shelton, Jacob Martin, Jackson Martin, Alyssa Shaffer, Abigail Shaffer and Breck Shaffer; and her sisters, Jane Whitmyer of Marysville, Mary Lou Yeager of Shermans Dale, Nancy Hoffman of Duncannon, Virginia Clark of Liverpool, Betty Heckert (Carl) of Reading and Patricia Scheidler (Harry) of Halifax. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
