With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edna Amelia Roland of Duncannon, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 3, 2026 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Forshey and Joanna Forshey (Walker); her former husband Duane F. Oakes Sr.; her husband Dorsey Roland; and her siblings, Raymond Forshey, Oscar Forshey, Paul Forshey Sr., Dorothy Lockawich and Betty Farringer.

She is survived by: her children, Duane F. Oakes Jr. (Yvonne), Paul Oakes (Dana) of Reynoldsville, Kathi Oakes (Michael Roush) of Duncannon and Faith Spitler of New Cumberland; and her stepchildren, Dorsey Roland, Craig Roland, Rose Allison, Karen Barber and Faith Roland. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren: 1 great-great-grandchild.
