The memory of Catherine E. Burke of Dunmore, Pennsylvania, born in Fairfax, Virginia, who passed away on April 18, 2024 at the age of 61, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by : her parents, Julian Long and Catherine Patterson Long. She is survived by : her husband John "Jack" Burke; her brother JT Long; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Alice Washko (Dave) of Dunmore, Rose Lasher (Tony) of Dunmore, Joseph Burke (Mari), Jerry Burke (Peggy), Covington Twp and James Burke (Donna). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home (318 E Drinker St, Dunmore, PA 18512). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 30 E.D. Preate Drive, Moosic, PA 18507; or Elan Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, 1101 Vine St., Scranton, PA 18510.
