We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2020, at the age of 77, Catherine Gavern (Dunmore, Pennsylvania), born in Scranton, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Delores Lee and Harold Lee. She is survived by: her husband Frank G. Gavern of Dunmore; her children, Kelly (Joseph McCool), Kathleen (Attorney Joseph Caputo), Frank A. Gavern (Valarie), Dean Gavern and Nicole Gavern; her grandchildren, Jordan McCool, Morgan McCool, Gianna Caputo, Donato Caputo, Francesco Gavern, Matthew Gavern and Grace Gavern; and her brothers, John Lee (Virginia) and Robert Lee (Bonnie). She is also survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 600 Baltimore Dr. Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
