She was predeceased by: her parents, Carmen Forgione and Grace Forgione; her husband Ross J. Scalese; her son Stephen F. Scalese; her sister Ann Lucille Gumble; and her friend Angie Valvano.

She is survived by: her children, S. J. of Charlotte, NC, Dr. Ross Scalese (Vince Pinto) of Miami Beach, FL, Christopher Scalese (Mary Beth), Patricia Scalese (Christopher Fusco) of Belle Meade, NJ and Matthew Scalese (Kristen); her sister Mary Ann Williams of Rancho Cucamonga, CA.; her grandchildren, Robert Kudrich (Kelsey), Abigail Kudrich, Ross, Paul Scalese, Mia, Emma Scalese and Noah Scalese; and her sister-in-law Angie Mackarey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Scalese Family Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Scranton Preparatory School 1000 Wyoming Ave Scranton, PA 18509.
