He was predeceased by: his parents, John Capoccia and Stella Capoccia (Alichwer); his brother John R.; his nephew John F. Capoccia; his daughter-in-law Lisa Ammon; and his siblings-in-law, Stanley Ofcharsky and Mary Kinney.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Nazar; his children, Christine (John T. Padula Jr.), Carol Ann (Patrick Padula Sr.), James J. and Sheri (Craig Zdonski); his grandchildren, Jake, Elisabeth J. Padula, Patrick Jr. and Gia Padula; his great grandchild John Padula IV; his siblings, Richard and Marion Ofcharsky; and his nephews, RJ and Christopher Capoccia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in James' memory may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
