She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Steinruck; and her father Robert Whittington. She is survived by: her close friend Nicholas Scaringi; her sisters, Lois and Hazel; her children, Sandra Stofila (Michael) of Shavertown and Arthur Carichner (Kevan Horsehead); her grandchildren, Adam Stofila (Riza), Dallas and Christian Carichner (Annie) of Ames, IA; and her great grandchildren, Willow and Junie Carichner of Ames, IA..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Morell-LaBelle Funeral Home (301 Chestnut St, Dunmore, PA 18512).
Memorial contributions may be made to the local SPCA location in memory of her beloved kitty PEEPERS We would like to thank all of you for your condolences and prayers.
