He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank L. "Chick" DePietro and Louise M. Caputo DePietro; his father-in-law Fred Donnini; his sister-in-law Donna Gianzanti (Paul "Ellie" Gianzanti); and his nieces, Britani Ciaglia and Michelle Burne.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Donnini; his children, Janelle Hampton, Julie Wawrzynski, David, Joe, Frankie DePietro and Tommy DePietro; his granddaughters, Danielle DePietro of Dunmore and Devyn Hampton of Dunmore; his siblings, Frank (Maureen), Ann Burns (John) of Dunmore, Marilou DePietro of Dunmore, Janice McDonald (Brian) of Dunmore and Rose D'Angola (Martin); his aunt Angela Lorince; his mother-in-law Marie Donnini; his siblings-in-law, Santa Burne (Fran) of Dunmore, Rose Ciaglia (Rick) of Dunmore and Fred Donnini (Theresa); and his pet Cole "Taz". He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
