We announce the death of Thomas Lyons IV of Dunmore, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 75. Thomas will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, T. Frank Lyons and Helen Scott Lyons; and his sisters, Mary Catherine Zurner and Ann Nardone. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Maloney Lyons; his children, Bob, Tom, Sarah Ehnot (Tom), Brigid Lyons and Mollie McGrady (Ryan); his grandchildren, Tommy, Jake and Emma Ehnot; and his siblings, Patty Fretz (Tim), Joe Lyons (Cathy) and Charlie Lyons (Kelly). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home (318 E Drinker St, Dunmore, PA 18512). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Church (1510 Penn Ave, Scranton, PA 18509).
In lieu of flowers, Tom's family is asking for donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the St. Clare/St. Paul's Church Food Pantry.
