He was predeceased by: his parents, T. Frank Lyons and Helen Scott Lyons; and his sisters, Mary Catherine Zurner and Ann Nardone. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Maloney Lyons; his children, Bob, Tom, Sarah Ehnot (Tom), Brigid Lyons and Mollie McGrady (Ryan); his grandchildren, Tommy, Jake and Emma Ehnot; and his siblings, Patty Fretz (Tim), Joe Lyons (Cathy) and Charlie Lyons (Kelly). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Tom's family is asking for donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the St. Clare/St. Paul's Church Food Pantry.
