With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret A. Sommerer of Duquesne, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 10, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Margaret may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Margaret touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Fischerkeller and Mary Fischerkeller of Bloomfield; her daughter Maryanne Byrnes; and her siblings, William, Carl and Thomas Fischerkeller.
She is survived by: her children, John Sommerer (Kathleen), William Sommerer (Barbara), Richard Sommerer (Cheryl Green) and Maureen Flaherty (Steven); and her brother John Fischerkeller. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild.
