He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marie McGlynn O'Brien of Wilkes-Barre and John Earl O'Brien; his children, Christopher (Janelle) and Katelee; his caregiver Susanna; his grandson Joey; his stepgrandchildren, Conner and Isabella; his siblings, Erin Gallagher (Mike) of Madison Twp, Mary Margaret McDermott of Avoca, Michael O'Brien (Patricia) of Wilmington, Del, Joseph Patrick O'Brien of Exeter, James O'Brien (Ann) of Avoca, Marie O'Malley (Michael) of Harding, Earl O'Brien of Avoca and Eileen (Scott) of Carbondale; his godmother Margie Linskey; his close friend Joe Ruda (Mickie); his brother John (Goober); his grandparents, Earl, Mary O'Brien, James and Margaret McGlynn; his in-laws, David and Ann Berlew; and his sister-in-law Kelly Jackson O'Brien. He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc. (255 McAlpine St, Duryea, PA 18642). The military honors will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to the Daughters of Dennis O'Brien College Fund.
