Jessie M. Lapsansky Obituary

Jessie M. Lapsansky, 66, of Avoca, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Allied Hospice Center in Wilkes-Barre. Born in Taylor on April 10, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Ronald and Leona (Shotwell) Gnall.

Jessie was a graduate of Pittston Area High School. She worked for Circle Nut and Bolt and in the local garment industry. Her final employment was with Parish Transportation, where she served as a school bus driver for 13 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ira James Gnall and Ronald Gnall.

Jessie is survived by her daughter, Kristen Lapsansky, of Avoca; her son, Brad Lapsansky, of Pittston; and her grandson, Ira James Lapsansky. She is also survived by her siblings, Brenda Timinski and her husband, Jerry, of Springbrook; Debbie Endres and her husband, John, of Springbrook; and Robert Gnall, of Moosic; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the care of Kiesinger Funeral Services Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea.
