Lois G. Wolfe Obituary
We announce the death of Lois G. Wolfe of Duryea, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 4, 2026, at the age of 84. Lois will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Stone Matthews and Helen Biggar Matthews; her former husband W. James Hirthler; her husband Chester Wolfe; and her brother Robert Matthews.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Rutledge (Joe) of Old Forge, Diane Hirthler of Avoca and Chrissy Bridges (Tony) of Riverview, Florida.; her grandchildren, Joey Rutledge (Kennedy), Michael Pieszala (Rebecca), Daniel Pieszala and Kayla Hirthler; and her stepgranddaughters, Maggie and Mollie Bridges. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
