Matilda Drost Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matilda Drost (Duryea, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 6, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Mruk and Anne Mruk (Marcavage); her husband Frank Drost; and her siblings, Stanley, Leo, Zigmund, Edward Mruk, Eleanor Balara, Lagora Urbanski, Delores Robachefski, Regina Jurovsky and Della Romanczuk.
She is survived by: her caregivers, Stanley and Debbie Budzilek. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc. (255 McAlpine St, Duryea, PA 18642). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (215 Lackawanna Ave, Dupont, PA 18641).
