He was predeceased by: his former wife Beverly Hoover Connolly; his parents, John A. Connolly and Loretta Stiles Connolly; his siblings, John (Sally), Timothy (Patricia), Joan Connolly and Eugene; his siblings-in-law, Mary Lou Radnovitch and Fred Hoover; and his stepdaughter Mary Louise Bomber.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Bomber Connolly of Duryea; his children, P. J. (Kimberly) of Lewistown, PA, Dick (Kristin) of Dunedin, FL and Molly Tasco (Tom) of Benton, PA; his grandchildren, Erin, Zachary, Rachel, Kaitlin and Colin; his brother Michael Connolly of Pringle, PA.; his stepson Lee Bomber (Brittany) of Pittston; his stepgrandchildren, Emerson, Sadie and Eli; and his brother-in-law Francis Hoover (Barbara) of Shavertown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home (1030 Wyoming Ave, Pittston, PA 18643). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (Corpus Christi Parish) (224 Memorial St, Exeter, PA 18643).
In lieu of flowers, and to perpetuate his favorite saying "I'm not leaving", Pat requested memorial donations be made to the Medical Oncology Associates Prescription Fund at Dr. Saidman's office to help others with the costs associated with cancer treatments.
