He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McDermott Thomas and Thelma Endres McDermott Thomas; his stepparent Mickey Thomas; and his sister Terry Beseda. He is survived by: his wife Karen Cremard McDermott; his children, Robert (Kim Talarico McDermott) and Ann Marie McDermott Kondrad; his grandchildren, Marissa McDermott, Gianna McDermott, Kaitlyn Kondrad and Christopher Kondrad; his great grandchild Maya Fedor; his sister Maggie Petrilli; his brother-in-law Raymond Petrilli; his brother David McDermott; and his sister-in-law Joyce McDermott. He is also survived by cousins, and several nieces and nephews.
