He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kroptavich and Edna Kroptavich (Abent); and his siblings, Catherine Kashuba, James and Robert Kroptavich.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian Kroptavich (Lapinski); his children, Christine Kroptavich of Duryea, Anthony Kroptavich of Duryea and William Kroptavich (Celeste) of Shohola, PA; and his sisters, Marion Kroptavich of Duryea and Eleanor Romanczuk (Robert) of Dupont. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
