He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Gardner and Ulah Haven Gardner; and his brother Robert E. Gardner. He is survived by: his daughters, Kateri M. (Michael E.), Shelly Gardner of Shelbyville, KY, Laura (Gary Stanton) and Cindy (Darren Haschak); his grandchildren, Emilia M. Viveiros of Dushore, PA, Jackson Richardson of Shelbyville, KY, Gary Stanton III of Montandon, PA, Payne Stanton of Hughesville, PA and Jaid Stanton of Picture Rocks, PA.; his great grandchild Annika Stanton of Montandon, PA.; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Gardner (Gretchen Green) of Forksville, PA, Raymond J., Terry Green of Waterford, ME, Robert D. (JoAnn Green) and Richard M. (Cindy Green).
