He was predeceased by: his wife Pamela M. Krichten (Bolin); his parents, Stephen W. Krichten and Ann E. Krichten (Roth); and his siblings, John Krichten and Patricia Goodling.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Krichten (Jen) and Kimberly Berry (Chuck); his grandchildren, Tanner, Nathan, Miley, Charlie, Lucas, Kaden, Aubree, Pamela, Gabriel, Camelia and Eleanor; his siblings, Mary Krichten, Lewis Krichten, Susan Krichten, George Krichten (Elyse), Raymond Krichten, Alice Huff and Connie L. Smith; his nieces and nephews, Georgianna Smith (Marshall) and Carley Joe Smith (Tiffini); and his siblings-in-law, Eileen Krichten and Kenneth Goodling.
Viewing was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murphy-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc. (501 Ridge Ave, McSherrystown, PA 17344). A prayer was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Annunciation B. V. M. Catholic Church (26 N 3rd St, McSherrystown, PA 17344).
