He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Macefe and Elizabeth Kerner Macefe; and his wife Margery Elaine Moore Macefe. He is survived by: his daughter Tammy; his siblings, Mary Ann Scarpitti, Theresa Mitchell, Dave Macefe and John Macefe; and his caregiver Brenda Lewis of Conneaut Lake. He is also survived by nieces and cousins.
