He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Sr. Henry and Florence I. Henry (Petrini); his former wife Mary Lou Henry (Harmon); and his brothers, John P. Henry Jr. and William Henry.

He is survived by: his sons, Brian Henry of Chicora and Scott Henry (Alina) of Summerville, SC; and his grandchildren, Trevin and Davin Henry.
