It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard L. Hate (East Greenville, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 5, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Hate and Madge Hate (Miller). He is survived by: his wife Betty (Godshall); his son Shanen Hate (Nicole); his grandchildren, Gabrielle and Tristan Hate; and his siblings, Paul Hate (Sandy), Neil Hate (Madeline) and Ruth Campos (Mauricio). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
