He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nerger and Catherine Nerger (Schwaed); his sister Patricia Tursky (Nerger); and his son Keith Nerger. He is survived by: his wife Karlene; his children, Kim Henry (Roy), Kelli Goughenour (Aaron) and Karl Nerger (Laura); his grandchildren, Ronnie, Rick, Karl and Kimberly Nerger; his children, Alex Larson, Nikolas, Kaitlynne, Kristofer Goughenour, Julia LaFollette and Justin Henry; his niece Renee Bechtold (Kurt); and his nephews, Michael and Jason Tursky. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Forgie Snyder Funeral Home (1032 Broadway Ave, East McKeesport, PA 15035). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (715 US-30, North Versailles, PA 15137).
