With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard E. Godfrey of East Prospect, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman P. Godfrey and Marie Godfrey (Floyd); his stepmother Irene Godfrey (Waughtel); his wife Velma Godfrey (Craley); and his sisters, Charlotte Bahn and Mary Arnold.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Godfrey (Nancy) and Lucinda Shenberger (Terry); his stepdaughters, Linda Hennel, Diane Fanruther and Karen Shepherd; and his siblings, James Godfrey (Connie) and Violet Harrison. He is also survived by four grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, many step great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Luke Church (2666 Furnace Rd, Felton, PA 17322). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
