She was predeceased by: her parents, James Archibald "Archie" Ace and Anna Ace (Shook); her husband Dewey Meckes; her son James A. Meckes; and her siblings, Adalyn Harps Transue, Helen Smith, Margaret Werkheiser, William R. Ace, Marion Kirkhuff Hunt, Robert L. Ace, Anita Focke and James L. Ace.
She is survived by: her son Guy D. Meckes of Sciota; her grandchildren, Kathryn Meckes, Tiffany Meckes, Tyler Meckes, Amanda Transue (Ronald Transue), Faith Brown (Meckes) and James P. Counterman; her great grandchildren, Nicole, DeAnna and Nathan; and her sibling's children, William Werkheiser and Sandra Wilson (Werkheiser).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the VFW Post 2540 (20 Fawn Rd, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301).
