He was predeceased by: his parents, Michele Ferro and Catherine Ferro (Prostamo); his siblings, Anna Marie Ferro and Anthony Ferro; and his siblings-in-law, Kristina Nardilla and Joseph Mattarelliano.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine (Mattarelliano); his children, Catherine Ferro, Bernadette Holloway (Stephen), Louise Zavertnik (Kyle) and Michael Ferro (Lisa); his grandchildren, Heather, Bruno, Johnathan, Ava, Jack, Jacob, John, Jason and Anna; his siblings, JoAnne Ciufo (late Victor Ciufo) and Leo Ferro (Fran); and his siblings-in-law, Theresa, Paul, Denise, John, Helen and Annie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
