With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Mae Appleton (Easton, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 15, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence A Heinrich and Mildred T Van Buskirk Heinrich; her husband Walter Thomas Appleton, Sr.; her son Walter Thomas Appleton, Jr.; her siblings, Robert E Heinrich and Jeannette Deemer; and her stepmother Helen Fleming Heinrich.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Wilson of The Villages, FL.; her grandchildren, Stephanie Krebs (David) and Gregory Barnes (Kimberly); and her great grandchildren, Abigail, Noah and Benjamin.
In lieu of flowers, Dot's family requests memorial donations be made to Cornerstone Hospice and Palliative Care, 2445 Lane Park Rd., Tavares, FL 32778.
