He is survived by: his wife Agnes "Sam" Polgardy (Dezzi); and his children, Sherri Pettigrew of Blanchester, OH, Wendy Smits (Michael) of Dunnellon, FL, Frederick Polgardy, Jr. (Sue) of Colorado Springs, CO and Samantha Jones (Kyle) of Hendersonville, TN. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
