He was predeceased by : his parents, Jay R. Herb, Sr. and Catherine Herb (Carr); his granddaughter Alexis Bennett; and his brother Joseph F. Herb, Sr.. He is survived by : his wife Sherry J. Herb (Lockard); his children, James M. Herb, Jr. (Jodi) of Hellertown, Lisa Herb of Easton and Matthew J. Herb (Michelle) of Forks Township; his siblings, Jay R. Herb, Jr. (Lucille) of Williams Township and Cathy Nolf (Tom) of Easton; his grandchildren, Jordan, Michelle, Cameron, Makayla, Shayna and Matthew, Jr.; and his great grandchild Josiah.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (602 W Berwick St, Easton, PA 18042). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
