John English Obituary
The memory of John English of Easton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 10, 2025 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. English and Virginia English (Winans); his wife Mardelle English (Riney); his children, David J. English and Teresa A. English; and his siblings, Robert English, James English, Mary Lawson and Dolores Kadjeski.
He is survived by: his children, Arretus Robertson of Thornton, CO, Clyde Donley (Theresa) of St. Amant, LA, Lauretta King (Alan) of Montgomery, IL, Kevin Donley (Hope) of Montgomery, IL, John English Jr. of Plano, IL and Christine Anderson (Scott) of Easton, PA; and his sister Virginia Schaffer (Wayne) of Easton, PA.. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and a very large extended family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (2101 Northampton St, Easton, PA 18042). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church (132 S 5th St, Easton, PA 18042).
