He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph and Emma O'Connor (Kramer); and his daughter Patricia Malik. He is survived by: his sister Marie Emanuel; his family Easton; his wife Grace; his friend Grace; his children, John Joseph III (Heidi), Caroline "Lynne" McDowell (Terry), Mary Ellen Nunes (Joseph), Jean Embardino (Joseph) and Michael (Tammy); and his grandchildren, Heather, Rachel, Marissa, Alex, Alana, Mario, Katie, Anthony, Emma, Leah and Kaleb. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
