It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ovie Lee Graddy of Easton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 4, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Willie Alford; his spouse Rutha L. Graddy; his grandson Gregory Lee Graddy Jr.; his foster son Maurice Dennis; and his siblings, John Henry Holmes Sr., J. C. Alford, James Alford, Emmett Alford Jr., Willie C. Alford, Katie Mae Gainer and Nellie Mae Alford.

He is survived by: his children, Rosalind Marie Graddy, Gregory Lee Graddy and Lamar Lee Graddy; his foster sons, Robert of Easton and John Greene of Easton; and his grandchildren, Markeia Scott, Dahran Scott, La'Markus Graddy, Lamir Graddy, Darryl Williams (Dante), Kyle Graddy and Branden Graddy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

Viewing was held on Friday, February 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Union AME Church (144 E Nesquehoning St, Easton, PA 18042). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

“I grew up with Lamar. We were close as children. When I lived over in south side Mr Graddy always with a smile on his face would always say hello and he was always warm and kind to my children I remember Mr Graddy as a kid and I will always remember his smile. Lamar and Family my condolences to you all you now have another angel watching over you Dorothy Darby Malson”
